Global Entrepreneurship Week

November 17, 18, and 20, we will be participating in Global Entrepreneurship Week. http://www.unleashingideas.org/ We will be holding three events. On Monday the 17th, Rev. Tony McDade, from GAIHN, will be on campus to speak about "Social Capital with a Furman Degree". Rev. McDade will be speaking at 4:30 in Burgiss Theater. On Tuesday, the 18th at 4:30 pm in Burgiss Theater, Jim Thompson General Manager and Co-Owner of Southeast Bio-Diesel will be speaking about "Sustainability: The future of Innovation". Also on Tuesday there will be an elevator pitch contest on a sustainability topic and a price will be given to the winner. On Thursday the 20th the Founder of Table 301 and Soby's, Carl Sobocinski, will be on campus to address the "How To's of Starting a Restuarant." Carl Sobocinski will be speaking at 4:30 on Thursday the 20th in McEachern Lecture Hall, in Furman Hall. Also look for sign ups for the elevator pitch contest and your chance to win a cash prize.
